Counselling and therapy in Brighton
I am a counsellor working in Brighton and Hove. I have been counselling since 2005. People come for help with a range of issues including anxiety, relationship problems, depression, low self esteem or lack of confidence and problems arising from childhood or early life experiences or relating to specific life events such as bereavement or loss. People also may use counselling as part of their self development so as to gain greater self awareness or fulfilment.
Counselling is a significant commitment requiring time, money and honest self examination. It is an opportunity for you to develop a greater knowledge and understanding of how you relate to yourself and others. This understanding helps develop the capacity to experience more flexibility, freedom and choice in how you respond to the people and the events of your life. Together we will listen and learn who you are and how you may be contributing to the difficulties you experience. Sometimes this can be challenging. I will support and facilitate you in this process.
My initial training was in Psychosynthesis which seeks to create a sense of wholeness from the conflicted, fragmented and sometimes painful experience we may have of ourselves.
